Terms & Conditions

Dear Client,

Thank you for choosing Petsitting with Flossie to look after your furry friend!

Client portal

After our meet and greet, a profile will be made for you with your mutually agreed set days/times.

Invoices will be sent at the end of the month and due to paid within 7 days of receipt. There will be a late payment fee of £12 per week from the end of the 7 days.

There are limited spaces. Therefore, if you would like any additional walks then please request via the portal in advance. Space can’t always be guaranteed; I wouldn’t want to turn you down!

Open hours/Contact info

Petsitting with Flossie is closed on weekends, evenings and bank holidays unless we have arranged a one off walk or petsit.

On working days, messages won’t be responded to after 6pm until the following working day.

Contact for emergencies are an exception.

Please make sure you keep an eye on your email as this is my main form of contact regarding important updates and invoices. Individual contact will be via WhatsApp, text and email.

Deposits

For services such as a one-off series of walks, home visits and housesitting, I require a 50% deposit which is to be paid upon receipt and the remaining balance is due up to a week before.

Holidays and cancellations

Petsitting with Flossie has a 48 hour cancellation policy - No refund will be given if cancellation is made within 48 hours of your walk.

2 weeks notice is required for multiple walk cancellations such as a holiday where you don’t require my services. This is because you are holding a slot which I need time to fill. Holidays are usually known quite far in advance so I would really appreciate if you could let me know, no later than 2 weeks before so I can fill your slot.

For longer periods of time where you don't require my services but wish to return, I may contact you to arrange a retainer fee to keep your space.

4 weeks notice is required for termination of contract.

4 weeks notice is required for petsit’s such as one off series of walks, housesitting or home visits. Your 40% deposit won't be returned if cancellation is within this time.

Please cancel as much in advance as possible via the client portal. This gives time to fill your space and plan the weeks/months ahead.

If any of these cancellations are within the required notice period, you must pay 50% of the remaining walks.

Washing

I will do my best to return your dog in decent condition with a quick wash using a portable washer and rough towel dry. I only have a few minutes per dog.

Therefore, I would like to invite you to purchase coats for your dogs which cover their under area and legs. This is optional but will help the dogs that hold onto mud who are harder to clean. Coats like 'Equafleece' are perfect.

Other walk info

If dogs are really strong on the lead then its recommended they have a 'Halti' for the safety of the walker.

Dogs must have strong recall to be allowed off the lead. Whistles are used to call dogs back. I work on pack recall to manage and keep everyone safe so they can socialise, play and have lots of fun!
